Public transport options to get to UQ Gatton

Local bus (Translink) timetable information to travel into Gatton town or to the train station at Rosewood

You can travel into Brisbane by Murrays Coaches or Greyhound Bus Lines

If arriving by air, you will need Airport Transfer (Brisbane Airport to Toowoomba) service, Con-X-ion

Free intercampus bus service

The University of Queensland offers staff and students a FREE Intercampus Bus Service which runs between the St Lucia and Gatton campuses. These services run Monday to Friday (excluding state public holidays). 

Please Note: These are NOT a public service and are only available to bonafide UQ staff and students. You will need to show your UQ ID/student card as proof of eligibility to travel.

Advanced bookings can be made via the Intercampus Bus website. UQ staff and students MUST book their trips every week, as the information is critical in managing the service. However, if you are unable to make a reservation on time you may still board the bus, if seating is available.

Getting around UQ Gatton Campus

It is an easy walk from the Halls of Residence to lecture theaters and other on-campus facilities, see the campus map (PDF, 975KB)

Bicycles may be used around the Gatton Campus. You must know the road rules and wear a helmet when cycling on public roads.
